1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the transportation services provided by Tacoma Transportation ("we," "us," or "our"). By requesting a quote, making a reservation, or riding with us, you (the "Client" or "Passenger") agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are booking on behalf of others, you accept these Terms on behalf of every passenger in your party and are responsible for making them aware of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

In these Terms:

• "Service" means the chauffeured ground transportation we arrange or provide.
• "Reservation" means a confirmed booking for a specific date, time, and vehicle.
• "Chauffeur" means the professional driver assigned to your trip.
• "Quote" means the flat-rate price we provide for a trip before it is booked.
• "No-Show" means a Passenger's failure to appear at the confirmed pickup location within a reasonable time of the confirmed pickup time.

3. Our Services

We provide chauffeured airport, cruise, point-to-point, hourly, corporate, and group transportation across Tacoma, Pierce County, and the greater Puget Sound. All Services are subject to vehicle and chauffeur availability.

We reserve the right to substitute a comparable or upgraded vehicle where necessary to fulfill your Reservation, and to decline or discontinue Service in the circumstances described in these Terms.

4. Reservations & Confirmation

Reservations may be made through our online booking form or by contacting our 24/7 dispatch at (253) 777-1539. A Reservation is confirmed only once we send you a confirmation containing your trip details, vehicle, and price. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance; same-day and last-minute requests are accommodated subject to availability.

You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and drop-off information, contact details, flight or sailing information, and passenger and luggage counts. We are not responsible for service failures resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.

5. Pricing, Payment & Gratuity

All trips are quoted at a flat rate, agreed upfront, with no meter and no surge pricing. Your quoted price includes applicable taxes, standard fees, and tolls. Optional add-ons — such as airport meet-and-greet (from $35), child or booster seats (from $15), and extra stops (from $20) — are quoted before booking. Extended wait time is quoted per 15 minutes, and oversized luggage is quoted at booking.

We accept major credit and debit cards and may keep a card on file to secure your Reservation; charges are typically processed after the trip is complete. Large group, wedding, and event bookings may require a deposit, which we will disclose at the time of booking. Gratuity is optional and is never added to your quote automatically.

6. Cancellations, Changes & No-Shows

Standard Reservations may be cancelled without charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup, and No-Shows, may be charged up to the full trip amount.

Changes to timing, vehicle, stops, or route are accommodated whenever a vehicle is available and may adjust your quoted price. Group, wedding, and event bookings may be subject to separate cancellation and deposit terms disclosed at the time of booking.

7. Wait Time, Delays & Force Majeure

For airport arrivals we track your flight and adjust pickup to your actual landing, and a reasonable amount of time to reach the vehicle is included. Extended waiting and additional stops are billed at our published rates (wait time quoted per 15 minutes) or are better handled through an hourly booking.

We are not responsible for delays or for any failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, traffic, accidents, road or terminal closures, mechanical failure, labor disputes, acts of government, or other force majeure events. In such cases we will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternative arrangements.

8. Airport & Cruise Transfers

For airport transfers, you are responsible for providing accurate flight information. For cruise transfers, you are responsible for confirming your assigned terminal — Pier 66 (Bell Street) or Pier 91 (Smith Cove) — from your cruise documents, as terminal assignments can change by sailing.

While we monitor flights and sailings and plan pickups accordingly, we are not liable for missed flights, sailings, or connections resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including inaccurate information provided by you or delays covered under the force majeure section above.

9. Passenger Conduct & Safety

Passengers must comply with all applicable laws and with the chauffeur's lawful instructions regarding safety, including the use of seat belts. The number of passengers may not exceed the seating capacity of the assigned vehicle.

The chauffeur may decline to begin, or may end, a trip involving any person who is abusive, threatening, intoxicated to the point of risk, or who endangers the safety of the vehicle, the chauffeur, or others. No refund is due where Service is refused or terminated for such conduct.

10. Capacity, Luggage & Accessibility

Passenger and luggage capacities are set for each vehicle class and may not be exceeded for safety reasons. Please provide accurate passenger and luggage counts when booking so we can assign an appropriate vehicle; oversized items should be disclosed in advance and are quoted at booking.

Child and booster seats are available on request for an additional charge. Our standard fleet is not equipped with a wheelchair lift; we can carry foldable mobility aids and will do our best to accommodate accessibility needs — please contact us in advance so we can advise on suitable arrangements.

11. Prohibited Conduct

For the safety and comfort of all guests, the following are prohibited in our vehicles:

• Smoking or vaping of any kind;
• Consumption of alcohol, except where lawfully arranged in advance for a qualifying event;
• Use or possession of illegal substances; and
• Any unlawful, dangerous, or disruptive activity.

Passengers are responsible for their own conduct and for that of any minors in their party.

12. Damage, Cleaning & Lost Property

Passengers are responsible for the cost of repairing any damage to a vehicle, and for cleaning charges arising from spills, sickness, or excessive soiling caused during their trip. Such charges are based on the actual cost incurred and are billed to the Client or the card on file.

We are not responsible for personal property left in a vehicle. If you contact dispatch promptly, we will make reasonable efforts to locate and return lost items, though we cannot guarantee recovery.

13. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tacoma Transportation's total liability arising out of or relating to any Reservation is limited to the amount you paid for that Reservation. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including missed events, flights, or sailings.

You agree to indemnify and hold Tacoma Transportation harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or the conduct of you or your party. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

14. Insurance & Licensing

Tacoma Transportation is a licensed and insured chauffeured transportation provider operating in the State of Washington and maintains commercial insurance on its vehicles as required by law. Proof of licensing and insurance is available on request.

15. Governing Law & Changes to These Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pierce County, Washington.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time you make a Reservation applies to that Reservation, and your continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
